Basically, TeamViewer allows you as a developer, support agent or colleague to remotely log into another PC and assist without having to resort to phone calls and emails. This is where TeamViewer has been an absolute game-changer for us. No longer are we trying to direct customers over the phone and send a very detailed list of instructions via email. We can log in via TeamViewer, search for the problem and rectify it with little to no frustration.

How to Get Started with TeamViewer

  1. Visit the TeamViewer website and download the latest version of TeamViewer.
  2. When TeamViewer is installed your PC / Mac will prompt you to allow TeamViewer “easy access”This is crucial as, without it, we will still be able to log into your PC but not be able to click on anything, thereby not being able to solve the problem
  3. Once downloaded and open you will see your Unique ID and Password (Remember that your password is only valid for 24 hours for security reasons. So if our support rolls over to the next day – you will need to generate a new password)
  4. Send us the ID and Password via email to support@pathfindmedia.com

Once the above is complete, we are able to log in and work our magic!
